November 30 NaNoWriMo reflection...

Updated: Dec 24, 2019

Do I look frazzled? I feel frazzled!

So, I did not "win" NaNoWriMo. But I have had a breakthrough in my writing career. I have gotten back in the saddle, so to speak, with writing. And I have a plan to actually make my writing happen.

I discovered that my 3 main works in progress are actually all part of one larger fantasy world and I will be spending the next 3 weeks doing a fantasy world building bootcamp, created by an indie author I really like.

Once I fully flesh out my world, I plan to go back and finish last year's NaNoWriMo book that is half written. And work on solidifying the connections between the three series.

I've also been researching and learning about indie publishing and coming up with a business plan and marketing strategy.

So did I get 50,000 words written in a month? No. But I think what I did accomplish is way more important and will really set me up for success. The goal is to get my first book published by August 2020 and steadily release a new book every 6 months. 🤞

I'm ready!
